Zimbabwe close to the town of Zvishavane.
During 2019, Murowa Diamonds changed its name to RZM Murowa Private Limited thereby refl ecting the new strategic direction of the Company. Indeed going forward, the Company will intensify its focus on sustainability issues that are at the core of the new world order that is taking shape post COVID 19.
The diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes discovered were located in an area that was already populated with more than 140 families living on the footprint of the proposed mine site. RZM Murowa used World Bank guidelines to resettle families to Shashe, about 150 kilometres east of Murowa.
